Browser Interface

  1. Open your browser of preference and go to https://view.robeson.edu

  2. Once the page loads you have the option to download and install the client, or use the Web Interface. (If you are using a campus laptop you will not have access to install the Client Version, but it may be installed on the PC already. If so, see Horizon Client Interface below)

    Difference Between the Two options
    1. VMware Horizon Client – If you are wanting to use your local printer at your remote site, or a USB thumb drive or other device, use this option.
    2. VMware Horizon HTML – If you want an interface that does not require an install, or you do not have permissions to install on this PC.
  3. Log into the View Environment with your campus network Username and Password and then click the Login button.
  4. Once you login, you will be greeted with a list of available virtual pools that you can choose from. (note: Some pools are only available from on campus.) Unless you are in a specific classroom on campus that has a pool designated to it, use the RCC_POOL.

Double click on the pool to start logging into a virtual machine within this pool.
  5. You are greeted with a virtual desktop on campus, that should interact like your used to from a campus machine.
