Browser Interface

 

Open your browser of preference and go to https://go.robeson.edu


Once the page loads you have the option to download and install the client, or use the Web Interface.
 (If you are using a campus laptop you will not have access to install the Client Version, but it may be installed on the PC already. If so, see Horizon Client Interface section below)

Difference Between the Two options



VMware Horizon Client – If you are wanting to use your local printer at your remote site, or a USB thumb drive or other device, use this option.

VMware Horizon HTML – If you want an interface that does not require an install, or you do not have permissions to install on this PC.



Log into the View Environment with your campus network Username and Password and then click the Login button.


 

After login, you will be greeted with a list of available virtual pools that you can choose from. (note: Some pools are only available from on campus.) 
Unless otherwise instructed use RCC.
 


You are greeted with a virtual desktop on campus, that should interact like your used to from a campus machine. 

 


Horizon Client Interface


Click on the VMware Horizon Client application.

Click to Add New Server and put in go.robeson.edu
 


Once you click on the Connect button, it will ask for your Campus Network username and password.


Once you login, you will be greeted with a list of available virtual pools that you can choose from. (note: Some pools are only available from on campus.) 
Unless otherwise instructed use RCC.


Once you pool loads you will have a menu bar across the top that will give you access to a few additional features and options. 

(note: you can allow or deny access to USB printers, and thumb drives from this bar if you need)
