How to Access & Navigate Canvas at Robeson Community College CANVAS
**You must be logged in to your RCC student account before accessing Canvas – same username & password as your RCC email.


HOW TO ACCESS CANVAS

(robeson.edu > Quick Links > Course Access – Canvas)

  1. Visit robeson.edu
    • Open in any browser on any device
    • Click "Quick Links" In the top navigation menu
  2. Select "Course Access - Canvas" from the dropdown list
  3. Log in
    • Enter your RCC username & password


NAVIGATING CANVAS

Global left-side menu:

  • Dashboard - see all your courses
  • courses - run course list
  • Calendar - all due dates at a glance
  • inbox - message your Instructors
  • Account - profile & notifications
  • Help - Chat with Canvas Support


Inside each course:

• Home - course overview & announcements

REA assignment is located here and must be completed or you will be dropped from the course.
Quick links available: Start Here I Modules I Campus Resources I Help

• Modules - Weekly assignments & course Info are here

Check Modules each week for new assignments, readings & materials.
Textbook required - located under Course Materials, and chapter readings are in Modules

• Grades - check scores & feedback

• Discussions - class conversation posts

Remember to complete your discussion - attendance is tracked by this.

  • Check the Calendar
    1. View all due dates across every class in one single calendar view.
  • Confirm Submissions
    1. Alter uploading work. look lor the green confirmation message.
  • Use the To Do List
    1. The Dashboard sidebar shows upcoming tasks so nothing slips through.
  • Read Announcements
    1. Instructors post important updates here - check each course regular
