Go to the Google Play Store or Apple App Store and download the VMware Horizon Client, and open it.
Once it opens up, enter go.robeson.edu as the server name, add a description if you wish, and click the Connect button.
Enter your username (not the full email address) and password as if you are logging into a campus computer, and click the Login button.
Once you connect you will see a list of available virtual machine pools to choose from.
PLEASE NOTE: Some pools are only available while on campus.
Depending on your connection speed, it may take a moment for the virtual machine to load so you may see this as it does.
Once the virtual machine fully loads, you will be greeted with a Windows 10 desktop, with icons and software pre-loaded like a basic campus computer lab.
The 3 dots in the top right-hand corner can be clicked to get some menu options.
- Keyboard option it will give you access to your device keyboard.
- Ctrl / Page gives you arrows, Page Up, Page Down, and Home Keys
- Disconnect, will disconnect you from the Virtual Machine Pool you are in
- Settings will take you to application settings for this App
- Help will give you quick reference for the gesture options
The touch pad icon, will change the touch mouse options of the interface
If you click on this, and a touch pad icon comes up on the screen, a mouse cursor will appear and you can drag it around the screen, and then tap to click.
If you click on this, and a hand and a circle at the end of the index finger comes up, then it will operate like your cellphone screen.
The arrows pointing in opposite directions will change the menu bar at the top of the screen into radial options.
