To send and receive and electronic fax.

Open a web browser and go to phones.robeson.edu

Once the page loads Click on the Login with Office 365 option

This should bring up a familiar Microsoft Office 365 login page. Enter your full campus email address.

On the following screen enter your campus email password

You will then be redirected to your MFA option depending on what the default is set to. The example here is the Microsoft Authenticator app.

Once you are in the True IP Solutions phone portal page you have a navigation bar across the top of your profile page. If you are an active campus fax user, click the Fax button.

The page will refresh, and you will have an option to send a fax or look at incoming faxes. If incoming faxes are set to go to an email address, you will not see anything in the inbox area. If you want to Send a Fax, once you click on the Send Fax button you will get a popup asking for the location on your computer for the electronic file you want to send. You can get this by scanning any physical page you want have faxed to your email address to get a PDF of the document.

Click on the Browse button to find the electronic file you want to fax. Note valid file types.  The Caller ID will default to the ID of the fax line you are sending as. In the Phone Number field, type in the number of where you are faxing this document to. The Add Cover Letter is not checked by default. Click send. Your fax is being sent and may take several minutes to be delivered to the recipient. You should get a Fax Delivery Successful message sent to the email associated with the fax line, with timestamps and page count to verify transmission.

Incoming faxes will be delivered to the email address(s) associated with the fax line. You will get an email that is similar to those for Voicemail notifications. Notice the attachment at the top of the email, and the header that includes the line YOU HAVE A NEW FAX!
